Enoch Cree duo places third in Amazing Race

September 14, 2016. “First Nation sensations” - as they dubbed themselves – Joel Ground and daughter Ashley Callingbull finished third in the fourth annual The Amazing Race Canada. In the last episode, which aired Tuesday night, and last leg of the race, which took place in Montreal, the duo started out in third spot. However, after catching a taxi first after the first challenge, they led through the next two challenges, but then fell behind. The pair, from the Enoch Cree Nation, were the first First Nations participants in the four years the show has been airing. “I think we’re role models for a lot of people. We want to show the world that there’s nothing we can’t do,” said Ground.
